Why attach Supplier Invoices to MYOB Transactions?

With wages & other costs increasing it’s really important to have efficient processes to allow maximum output, and comply with ATO record keeping requirements.

Invoices & other relevant documents like contracts, can be at your finger tips on any device, and they can be downloaded or printed from MYOB as well.

When invoices are sent to MYOB:

  • Bill and Spend Money transactions can be pre-filled with some of the information read from the invoice, saving entry time & increasing accuracy
  • It’s easy to find an invoice to check what it was for and if GST applies – no more wasting time going to the filing room, or sorting through piles of invoices!
  • Anyone with an MYOB user login can see the invoices, including the accountant, which means less questions, won’t that make tax time easier?

How can I attach Supplier Invoices?

MYOB has 3 ways to add invoice attachments to make it as easy as possible.

Capture app

Use the Capture app on your mobile phone to send the invoice into the MYOB In Tray. This is great to use on the fly for food & fuel invoices that might fade with time. Once they are attached to an MYOB transaction there will be a permanent record. No more lost invoices for reimbursements or credit card purchases, yay!

Email invoices

Give the In Tray email address to suppliers, or forward emails with invoices attached. When the In Tray is opened all the invoices will be there waiting to be turned into Bill or Spend Money transactions

Drag & Drop Files

Open the In Tray on one screen & the emails or files on another screen, then just drag & drop invoices & other documents from emails or saved files, into the In Tray in these formats

PDF, .JPG, .JPEG, .TIFF, .TIF, and .PNG
